11 November 2013: At the end of the summer Stephen Clark set up his own business, Cumbria Hose Services, following the impending redundancy from his employer who had chosen not to renew their current franchise with Pirtek.

16 April 2013: CDFA member Enterprise Answers has been profiled on ITV News. The CDFI has just received £1.8m From the CDFA's Regional Growth Fund programme and is working hard to help businesses across Cumbria access finance.
14 February 2013: In 2011 Enterprise Answers who are Cumbria's only Community Development Finance Institution announced they had been awarded 1.8 million pounds from the Regional Growth Fund. After a long wait this money is now available to many businesses in Cumbria seeking additional financial support.
